Post Name: Operations Assistant (Base Operations)
Job Roles:
- Take lead in planning and deployment of marine crew to harbour crafts;
- Take lead in enforcing marine crew discipline;
- Perform compliance checks to ensure personnel and safety at the base and onboard craft;
- Arrange for daily diesel orders and attend to bunker deliveries;
- Coordinate with Fleet Engineering team on the repair and maintenance status of harbour crafts and equipment;
- Update daily records of craft movements, deployment, craft breakdowns;
- Perform regular checks and surveys on the status and upkeep of base equipment; and
Assist Section Managers in operational assignments and projects.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Marine) / Maritime Business / Business / Logistics and Supply Chain Management;
- Candidates should have good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Candidates should be willing to perform shift work (candidates will be entitled to shift and applicable allowances);
- Candidates should be proficient in using computer and mobile device applications/systems;
- Candidates should be proficient in MS Office; and
